Child Safety Standards
Studaverse has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards explain what we prohibit, how concerns can be reported, and how we respond.
Zero tolerance
Child sexual abuse and exploitation is prohibited
Studaverse prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in every part of the platform, including profiles, marketplace listings, work posts, events, community posts, images, and messages.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including real, illustrated, generated, or altered sexual content involving a person under 18.
- Sexual exploitation, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or attempts to obtain sexual content from a minor.
- Sexualized comments, requests, messages, or conduct directed at a minor.
- Sharing, requesting, offering, linking to, or facilitating access to CSAM or other child sexual exploitation material.
- Any attempt to use Studaverse to arrange or facilitate sexual contact with a minor.
Report a child safety concern
If you see content or behaviour that may involve child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, sextortion, or another child safety concern, use the in-app report feature on the relevant user or content. Reports are reviewed by Studaverse and may result in content removal, restrictions, suspension, or permanent account removal.
If you cannot access the app, or the concern is especially sensitive, email us directly. Please do not attach or forward suspected CSAM. Instead, provide enough information for us to locate the account or content safely.
How Studaverse responds
We review child safety reports as a priority. When we identify content or conduct that violates these standards, we may remove the content, restrict features, suspend or permanently ban accounts, and take other steps needed to protect users.
When required by applicable law, Studaverse will preserve relevant information and report apparent or confirmed CSAM or child sexual exploitation to the appropriate national, regional, or law-enforcement authority. We also cooperate with valid legal requests related to child safety investigations.
Child safety contact
Our designated child safety contact can receive and respond to reports about Studaverse's child safety practices and potential CSAE or CSAM concerns.
